We Were Made For More Than This

I’m starting to think that people are losing their ability to communicate maturely… or maybe it’s just that they can’t handle someone saying no or disagreeing with them or (heaven forbid) standing up for themselves. Are we that fragile?

Are we too proud to acknowledge how our actions affect others? Are we too stubborn to be accountable for our own actions? Are we unable to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes and simply utilize the golden rule? Good heavens, people - wake up! We were made for more than this… Treat people like humans with value - not someone for you to control, dismiss, or walk over.
